Adult Swim announces return date for the second half of Season 4 of “Rick and Morty”
One trailer, one short, unnecessarily badass suits of armour and a release date!
April Fool’s Day seems like the most wonderful time of the year for fans of the popular Adult Swim animated series Rick and Morty. The adventures of the two dynamic characters is set to continue with Adult Swim announcing the premiere date for the back half of Season 4 on May 3.
Just a day after Adult Swim published new Rick and Morty short set in medieval Japan, inspired by Lone Wolf and the Cub, a new trailer dropped. This time around Rick and Morty are fighting off bizarre creatures in “unnecessarily badass” suits of armour and arguing over whether to wear squid creatures on their face. We don’t find out what might be the plot of these five episodes, but with all the gloriously bizarre action, science fiction references and a certain release date, there is no reason to complain, but rather just to survive another month in anticipation!
The first three seasons of the show will be available on HBO Max when WarnerMedia’s new streaming service launches in May. Hulu will continue to stream the show as well, with the latest seasons reaching both platforms five months after the season finale airs.
