On December 3rd was the premiere of the long-awaited continuation of the animated film from the DreamWorks Animation factory - Puss in Boots: The Last Wish from Sher's fairy tale franchise was held. This is the continuation of the great movie story from 2011 about the ultimate fighter, favorite romantic and milk lover who knows no fear.



On the premiere were many famous people with their children: Ana Majhenić, Matko Knešaurek, Jan Kerekeš, Ervin Baučić, Iskra Jirsak, Dražen Bratulić, Nikola Nedić, Nenad Polimac and influencer Daniel Dizdar.



When Puss in Boots learns that he has used up eight of his nine lives, he embarks on a journey to find the mystical Last Wish and regain the lives he has lost. Kitty Softpaw and his new companion Perro, a therapy dog who was disguised as a cat in Mama Luna's home, go on an adventure with him. They were running away from new enemies who are trying to hunt him down because of his reputation after the first movie.



The irresistible adventure 'Puss in Boots: The Last Wish' was directed by Joel Crawford, who is credited with directing the animated hits Croods 2: The New Age (2020) and Troll's Holiday (2017). In addition to directing, he has worked on other animated hits as a writer and co-writer on the Kung Fu Panda franchise (2008), Trolls (2016), SpongeBob SquarePants: SpongeBob SquarePants (2015) and many others. This means that we are in the safe hands of an experienced storyteller of animated comedies.



In addition to Crawford, Januel Mercado, who also worked on Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011), Croods 2: A New Age (2020) and other animated films, stepped in as an assistant director. There is certainly no shortage of experience in creating a new animated hit.



The intrepid adventurer Puss in Boots first appeared in the film Shrek 2 (2004), and continued his adventures in the other two installments of the Shrek series, before receiving his own independent film Puss in Boots (2011) and the animated series The Adventures of Puss in 2011. in boots (2015).



Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is an example of superb animation and unique comedy set in the world of fairy tales and unexpected heroes and villains in the form of well-known characters from stories.



In the original English version of the film, Hollywood charmer Antonio Banderas voices Puss in Boots, while his crush Kitty Softpaw is voiced by Salma Hayek. This is Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek's seventh film together, but the most famous ones are certainly Desperado (1995), Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003) and of course Puss in Boots (2011).

Ervin Baučić, who embodied the voice of the cat in the dubbed version in Croatian, said: "During the production, you could see that the film would be exceptional, but what awaited me on the screen at the screening itself was beyond all my expectations." Amazing animation, characters as if alive, fun for the whole family. My daughter, wife and I enjoyed it equally."

Iskra Jirsak embodied the character of Kitty Softpaw, Dražen Bratulić the character of Jack Horner, and Robert Ugrina and Jan Kerekeš the father bear and baby bear. The director is Luka Rukavina, and Dora Jakobović is responsible for the translation and adaptation of the dialogue.
